SOLD Antique Burmese wood trunk inlaid with mother of pearl and carved with a floral pattern. It has handles on both sides. Beautiful inlay work, small triangular pieces make up the design. It measures 34" by 17.5" by 18". From the early 20th century.
An interesting carved wooden Chinese panel utilizing scrolling vines with motif of flowers. Traces of blue, white, green, and red pigments and detailed painting can be found different areas of the carving. Age: 19th Century. Size: Height: 15.75" Width: 2.5" Length: 49.5"

SOLD Nepalese bronze pedestaled bowls from 18th-19th century. One bowl has a lotus blossom on the bottom of the bowl. The second bowl is decorated with a band of blooming flowers along the base. Deaccessioned from the Handley Private Collection. Measures 4" 5/8" tall, 4.25" at widest.

SOLD Large antique bronze rain drum from Laos is a Herger type three drum. Reference material "The Karen Bronze drum of Burma" by Richard M. Cooler. It has two frogs (eight altogether) on top with a twelve pointed star with continuing concentric circle with stamp decoration. The side has two elephants and two snails representing water and fertility. A globular flared body rises with four attached handles of frog design. Circular concentric pattern continues throughout the body...

On Hold A richly patinated carved wood figure of a seated drum playing musician. This item was made in Bali, circa 1900-1940, during the first half of the 20th Century. Condition - very good - there is a small chip to the head-dress (please view enlargement 11) - no further damage and no repairs. 18cm (7 inches) wide; 32cm (12.5 inches) high.
